Burger King and Five Guys are two popular national options, each offering different price points – a single-patty “Little Hamburger” at Five Guys costs $8.29, while a “Whopper” from Burger King is priced at $5.79. Looking head-to-head between the two, CivicScience data show 45% of U.S. adults enjoy eating at Five Guys, compared to 40% who prefer Burger King.

Examining by age, Five Guys is favored by 47% to 48% of adults across nearly every age group, except those aged 55 and older, where the preference drops to 41%. Burger King also has a consistent favorability ranging from 37% to 39% among most age groups but sees higher preference among those aged 55 and older at 41%.
