John is a serial entrepreneur with extensive experience in new business formation, business development, and marketing. He is the host of the successful podcast, The Dumbest Guy in the Room and author of What We’re Seeing, the weekly email newsletter read by a who’s-who of business leaders, policymakers, and celebrities. He is also a frequent speaker at the Carnegie Mellon University Swartz Center for Entrepreneurship, a contributing writer for AdAge, Microsoft News, and Forbes and has appeared on Good Morning America, Yahoo! Finance, Cheddar, and AXS-TV. John is the lead singer of Moscow Mule, an alternative rock cover band, a recipient of the distinguished Jefferson Award for his charitable works.

Joseph Galarneau

A longtime digital product executive based in New York City, Joe was most recently global head of marketing technology product for Wayfair, overseeing platforms driving customer acquisition, retention, and engagement for $10+ billion in annual revenue. Previously, Joe served as chief product officer for Verve (mobile adtech platform), CEO/co-founder for Mezzobit (martech security platform acquired by OpenX), and COO/digital GM for Newsweek and The Daily Beast. A frequent speaker on digital strategy, Joe has presented at SXSW Interactive, Digital Content Next, and the Mozilla Festival, and has been an adjunct faculty member at Yale and New York University, as well as teaching internationally in China, India, and Eastern Europe. He is also a mentor and entrepreneur-in-residence at NYC’s Entrepreneurs Roundtable Accelerator, one of the largest start-up programs on the East Coast.

Amie Bolewitz

Amie is a dynamic and creative leader with 15+ years of experience in domestic and international strategic marketing program development and execution, including web development, lead generation, online seminars, and management of multi-divisional marketing teams and budgets. Prior to CivicScience, Amie was the Director of Marketing Operations for Black Box, a technology solutions provider dedicated to helping customers build, manage, optimize, and secure their IT infrastructure.

Doug Lauretano

CEO, Rulo

Doug is the CEO of Rulo, a company founded to leverage the scaled, responsibly sourced, highly actionable dataset of CivicScience in advertising. Powering next-gen audience solutions in a rapidly evolving, privacy-first open internet, the new company provides value to users, brand marketers and content creators in a permissioned and regulatory compliant fashion without dependence on third party cookies. Prior to starting this new venture, Doug launched the programmatic business of and built it to a top ad platform as SVP & GM. He has spent over twenty years in media spanning various leadership, strategy and partnership roles for platform technology and branded content-driven enterprises at various stages from start-up to corporate. Doug has earned an MBA from NYU’s Stern School of Business and lives in Laurel Hollow, NY with his wife and two children.

I specialize in creating and maturing technical architecture as well as mentoring the technologists working to achieve their vision.

Zack Nippert

As the President of CivicScience, Zack leads all aspects of CivicScience's intelligence business and overall growth initiatives. Zack joined CivicScience after 10 years at consumer insights firm MotiveQuest, based in Chicago, where he led the company to a successful acquisition by LRW as the company's President. Prior to MotiveQuest, Zack led account management teams at some of the world's largest global advertising agencies, including Leo Burnett and DDB Chicago/NYC. Zack has partnered with Fortune 500 companies across multiple verticals including technology, financial services, healthcare, CPG, and others to provide the data and market intelligence needed to fuel clients’ growth and success.
