As concern about the coronavirus pandemic continues to subside across the country, three-quarters of U.S. adults now say they’re comfortable with both shopping at stores and eating at restaurants. That’s up substantially from January, when about 6 in 10 Americans said the same.

CivicScience’s ongoing COVID Comfort Index rose to a new six-month high of 65.3, with five of its six components either increasing or holding firm. Comfort with eating out and going to work each rose three points to lead the way. Check out our weekly COVID Check-In infographic for more details.

Drop by again on Wednesday, April 20 for the next check-in.
