In the wake of the Nov. 5 Astroworld tragedy, Americans’ overall comfort with attending large public events right now sank by six points, from 54% to 48%. Meanwhile, most other indicators in CivicScience’s ongoing COVID Comfort Index decreased slightly or held firm week over week, with travel comfort the outlier at a one-point increase.
