According to CivicScience daily tracking, three-fourths of food delivery service users 18+ are using them the same amount (55%) or more (21%) amid the coronavirus pandemic. The other 25% are using them less, perhaps to social distance.

Gen Z adults are the most likely to say they’re using food delivery apps less, and Millennials are the most likely to be embracing them more amid the coronavirus pandemic.

Women are slightly more likely to say they’re using food delivery apps less due to the coronavirus than men are.

Overall, in terms of how many Americans use delivery apps or don’t, we’re not seeing a drastic move in either direction to date (other than a small bump when this all started March wk. 1), but adoption could change as the coronavirus situation develops in America.
