Gary Busey is something of a cult hero among our engineering team. So, when we developed the initial list of hundreds of US celebrities we track in our system, we added Busey, even though he is probably the least prominent celeb on our entire list.
But then someting crazy happened. After asking thousands of people how much they liked Busey, our technology started comparing Busey opinions with the thousands of other topics we track, including the popularity of several hundreds global brands. One specific correlation jumped out of our database: For some reason, people who “Love” Kia Cars are 272% more likely to “Love” Gary Busey than any other segment of consumers.
