From discounts and rewards to earning points, reward programs allow retailers to build brand loyalty while offering consumers an incentive to sign up. The latest CivicScience data show that experience with loyalty programs is widespread – 7-in-10 U.S. adults say they’re enrolled in at least one at a retailer, such as grocery or drug stores. Only 3-in-10 say they are not enrolled in any of these programs. Among those enrolled, 22% have over five loyalty memberships, and 78% are signed up for less than five.
