Beyoncé shocked fans and listeners this March with the release of her new country album, “Cowboy Carter.” According to CivicScience data, 15% of U.S. adults have listened to the new album, with 7% who said they liked it. Stepping outside of her typical genre, Beyoncé released the 27-track album that features both original songs and covers, including a new spin on the song “Jolene” by Dolly Parton. 

So who makes up the fanbase of “Cowboy Carter”? Interestingly enough, 59% of those who indicated that they listened to and enjoyed the album were men, while 60% of those who listened to and did not enjoy the album were women. Less surprisingly, the largest group of fans fell into the 18-24 age group, followed by the 25-29 range. Read on for some more surprising and interesting insights about fans of the new album.
