CivicScience’s ongoing COVID Comfort Index shows that Americans continue to become steadily more comfortable going out to shop, eat out, see movies, and more as 2022 progresses. But perhaps the most dramatic improvement in comfort in recent weeks has come in traveling and going on vacation. In mid-January – just a few weeks ago – 40% of U.S. adults said they’d be comfortable traveling; now, that figure is at 50%.
Overall, the COVID Comfort Index rose handsomely from 57.2 to 58.8 week over week, with five of six indicators rising and one staying flat. Check out our infographic for more details:
