You’ve probably seen the commercials for Carvana: choose your car online, have it sent to your door. These sort of services may be no-longer be niche.

This new wave of car buying has a chance to take off among U.S. adult consumers. Services that allow you to browse new and used inventory, get financing, sell or trade your current car, and yes, even get your new car delivered to you, are becoming more mainstream. CivicScience research proves their popularity has potential. After polling 1,582 U.S. adults on their awareness of these services, the findings show the intent to buy cars online is catching up with the percentage of those who already have.
