With the Biden administration’s COVID-19 vaccine requirement for large employers set to take effect in the coming days, Americans may be starting to feel less comfortable with working. Sixty-five percent of the U.S. workforce said last week that they’d be comfortable working right now, a two-point decrease from the week prior. Americans’ comfort with working has been at or below their comfort level with eating out at restaurants for over a month now.

Meanwhile, comfort levels for traveling, going to a movie, and shopping in retail stores all increased week over week, while comfort with attending a large public event (concert, sports game, etc.) fell by three points. Check out this week’s COVID Check-In for the full picture.

Drop by again on Wednesday, November 10 for the next check-in.
